New Virus Tests Added to Our Catalog for Cucurbit Disease Management
CSP Labs is pleased to announce the addition of two new virus tests to our expanding catalog of services, specifically tailored for cucurbit crops. Our lab now offers testing for Cucurbit Chlorotic Yellows Virus (CCYV) and Cucurbit Yellow Stunting Disorder Virus (CYSDV).
These tests utilize Real-Time PCR technology, which provides higher sensitivity compared to conventional PCR tests. This increased sensitivity allows for the detection of viruses at lower infection levels, enabling growers and seed producers to identify potential issues sooner and take action before they escalate.
