CSP Labs Asia is located in Khon Kaen, Thailand, which is a hub for the seed industry. Several seed companies operate in the region and can benefit from a conveniently located laboratory for easy sample drop off or low cost shipping.

Offering Virus Testing By ELISA & PCR

CSP Labs Asia currently offers virus testing by ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay). Viruses that we currently test for include CGMMV, SqMV, MNSV, KGMMV, ZGMMV, ToMV, TMV, PMMoV, ToBRFV, among others.

The lab also offers PCR tests such as BFB (Bacterial fruit blotch), Tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV), and pospiviroids among other pathogens.

Supporting Imports with Offshore Testing

Not only will companies operating in (or near) the region benefit from lower shipping costs and quicker turnaround time, they can also utilize the lab when offshore testing is needed prior to exporting seed. Regulations are already shifting towards requiring offshore testing for certain pathogens, and if we don’t already offer the test you need, we’ll be adding it as soon as possible.

Looking Forward

CSP Labs Asia will be expanding the portfolio of tests to meet customers needs. In the near future we plan to offer PCR-based tests, that will expand our testing capabilities to include bacterial and fungal pathogens.
