CSP Labs Renews ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation Through 2028
What does ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation mean for CSP Labs?
CSP Labs has successfully renewed its ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation through March 31, 2028 for it’s Pleasant Grove, California location. This accreditation confirms that our laboratory continues to meet internationally recognized standards for quality management, technical competence, and reliable testing results.
This accreditation applies specifically to CSP Labs’ California location. CSP Labs Asia, in Khon Kaen, Thailand, operates under its own ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, maintained separately to support regional and international testing programs.
ISO/IEC 17025 is the primary global standard used to evaluate the competence of testing and calibration laboratories. Accreditation verifies that a laboratory operates using validated methods, qualified personnel, and controlled processes that support consistent and scientifically defensible results.
For CSP Labs, maintaining this accreditation reflects our continued commitment to supporting the seed and plant health industry with consistent and dependable diagnostic services.

Why ISO 17025 Matters for Seed and Plant Health Testing
Seed health diagnostics require a high level of methodological rigor. Results often inform critical decisions related to:
- Seed lot health status
- Phytosanitary compliance
- Export documentation
- Breeding program advancement
- Disease management strategies
ISO 17025 accreditation provides assurance that testing is performed using validated procedures within a structured quality management system. This framework supports reproducibility, documentation, and oversight of laboratory operations.
For seed companies, breeders, and research programs, accredited testing provides additional confidence that results are generated under internationally recognized laboratory standards.
